As the holidays approach the biggest question arises as to what should be that grand pick? Is it a Samsung Tab or a Google Nexus? Let us have a quick glance at the specifications of these brilliant devices offered by the two tech giants.

Distinguishing Features

  1. Google Nexus 10 2: The market is witnesses a never-ending wait towards the release of the second generation Google Nexus 10. It is supposed to sport a 10.1 inches screen, a superb Plane-to-Line Switching TFT touch-screen. It will have an upgraded Gorilla Glass coating. It will have a pixel density of 299 ppi offering 16 million colors.

Google will most probably use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and a 2.3GHz quad core Krait 400 processor for its Nexus 10 2. Moreover it will have 330 GPU graphics. Google Nexus 10 2 is expected to have a 3GB RAM and will mostly feature Android 4.4 Kitkat.

  1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1: Being lightweight this tablet brings grand success to Samsung. With a 64GB of storage expansion it definitely allows you to store anything and everything. It works on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Samsung’s TouchWiz Ul skin. The useful feature named Smart Stay switches the tablet to sleep when the user is looking away from it.

The notification panel can be customized depending on your usage pattern. The device has a TFT touchscreen, 16 million colors with 1280×800 pixels and 149 ppi pixel density.

The existing Google Nexus 10 is considered to have better resolution than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. Hence Google’s Nexus 10 2 is expected to be an improvement over the Nexus 10, which in turn will prove to be a better buy than Samsung Tab 3 10.1. But for a mid-range table the latter offers good qualities.
